Magnesium bisglycinate chelate is a highly absorbable and bioavailable form of elemental magnesium chelated to two molecules of the amino acid glycine. This Magnesium Formula is a combination of two forms of magnesium - magnesium bisglycinate (150mg) to reduce body discomfort and occasional cramping and magnesium citrate (150mg) to support normal bowel movements*. This formula also includes 2mcg of boron, formulated strategically to boost magnesium absorption. Due to the stable chelated form of this formula, it should not cause unfavourable gastrointestinal symptoms that are sometimes associated with magnesium supplementation. Magnesium is an essential mineral that serves as a cofactor for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body, including muscle contraction, making it a helpful mineral for relief from occasional cramping and body discomfort.
